President Anne Vanderleest of the RCHS gave a report on Heritage Day attendance – pronouncing it a success. All feedback was very positive.

Treasurer Ron Thornton reported a current balance of $7,300.

Guest speaker, Dr. Bryant R. Boswell, was introduced by Secretary Joan Singletary. Dr. Boswell is president of the Natchez Trace Parkway Association and spoke of the concluding programs commemorating the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the upcoming celebration of the War of 1812.

Upcoming Events: Wednesday, June 18, a Tea Party with Anne Stratton. Bring your “fancy” items to our tea party.

Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Civil War Relic Show at Brandon City Hall. RCHS will have a table at the event.
